Soot Damage Butte Fire

This light fixture was installed in the home during the recent Butte Fire. While they were very lucky to still have their home, it was covered in soot. The before photo shows the un-cleaned left light bar. The after photo was taken during the cleaning process and shows the cleaned right light bar. Our customer was thrilled with the way his home looked when we were through. Soot damage can cause pitting on glass, metal, and granite surfaces if left uncleaned. In this situation, the home was unoccupied because of the evacuations. Soot had covered everything in the home and we spent several days doing a thorough cleaning.
