Storm Damage in Placerville
The rain storms we experienced this last winter were not taken lightly by anyone. We had numerous customers calling us every day because they were experiencing roof/skylight leaks, ground water soaking its way into their home, and even trees that had fallen onto their roofs.
SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville was called out on a non-emergency situation a few months back because the sand bags outside of a home were not enough to keep all the water out. The homeowners called us to come out the next day, and we began working right away. All carpet, padding, baseboards, and a section of affected drywall were removed and thrown away since the water coming in was from the exterior ground. We categorize that kind of water hazardous to one’s health – hence, it is not restorable. Our clients were very pleased with how quickly we were able to remove everything, and sanitize the structure to their house-hold living standards.
