Refrigerator Leak in Somerset, CA

This kitchen in Somerset was the result of a leaky refrigerator. While, on the surface, there does not appear to be much damage, underneath was concerning. Laminate wood flooring can be made of particle board or engineered wood, which easily absorbs moisture. Unlike hardwood, it does not return to its original shape when dried, so we often have to remove it. In this specific case, there was a layer of vinyl under the wood that was the original floor in the home and had trapped the water. We removed both layers of floor in order to save her cabinets. Our customer was expecting a much longer process and was thrilled that we saved her cabinets.
