SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville received a call from a customer in Pilot Hill with a two story home requesting for water damage restoration services. We provided emergency services and loaded up the van with drying equipment - dehumidifiers, water extractor, and air movers. When we arrived on site, there was damage to the ceiling, the exterior wall, and the carpet. The main cause of the water damage was the water supply line in the laundry room upstairs. The loft area and bedroom carpet was soaked with water and we proceeded to use the water extractor. In the downstairs living room and kitchen area, we performed moisture readings and moisture mapped the area. We determined the exterior walls, ceilings, and laminate flooring were wet. We proceeded to remove the laminate flooring to set up drying equipment.

This two story emergency services water damage was a large job that took most of the day to stabilize the environment with drying equipment.
